Session hosts tutorial
At Cities for Change most online sessions are taking place at a cooperative online conferencing platform, provided by The Online Meeting Co-operative, in short meet.coop. This is a member-based alternative based in free, open source software, protective of privacy, powered by renewable energy. For the programme it is a statement of support to the new economy we want to see.
Below is an introduction tutorial video to help session hosts prepare and get the best out of these conference rooms. If you want to see the same video but with pagination, i.e. the ability to easily skip to the desired section, click this link. Notice the "hamburger" menu in the linked video at the top left, which allows you to jump between sections.
The tutorial introduces these 10 points:
- About this service
- Roles
- Access to a room
- Layout of a room
- Keeping order
- Streaming bot
- Recording
- Save session content!
- Breakouts
- Whiteboard
